Rooted in the Work You Do
I’m Regina Garay, founder of Right Brain Loves Left. The name comes from how I work best, with the creative side and the systems side working together. I started in 2000 as a decorative artist, and my days were paint, plaster, glazes, and murals, often up on scaffolding bringing someone’s vision to life.
My studio earned two national Top Job Awards from American Painting Contractor magazine, and we also produced a product line in our own warehouse, metallicizing, plastering, and gilding wallpaper panels on a 25-foot table and antiquing large mirrors for hotels and projects across the country. We worked closely with the sales reps who carried the line, building the hand-finished sample books that went into design libraries, and I saw firsthand how a product line travels from the warehouse floor to the showroom and into a client’s hands.
When websites were still new, I invested in one for my studio, and it helped grow the business to six figures. I began blogging in 2007 and was there for the early days of social media, learning to connect with an audience long before it was standard practice.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked where the trades and marketing meet. National brands and local retailers hired me to lead their strategy and speak at their conferences because I understood both the product and the person using it.
Today I bring all of that marketing experience to AI. I build AI systems for product brands in the interior design and construction industry, shaped around how each business runs across marketing, sales, and operations.
